From Las Vegas to Houston, New York City to San Antonio, our team was at the forefront of the discussions shaping the future of energy, data centers, and grid reliability. These were not small side meetings or casual conversations. They were the stages, summits, and roundtables where the decisions that will chart the next decade of growth are being made.
Everywhere we went, the same truth came into focus. Demand is rising faster than the grid can adapt, and reliability can no longer be treated as optional. The systems we depend on are being tested in real time. To keep pace, long-duration storage must move from the edges of the conversation into the center of the solution.

RE+ | Las Vegas
The largest renewable energy conference in North America was a chance to highlight the role storage must play in balancing a fast-growing generation pipeline. TerraFlow CEO Jon Parrella joined the Suncast podcast alongside leaders from SEPA and Carrier Energy to discuss how buildings and batteries are transforming from passive energy consumers into resilient, active grid participants. The takeaway: storage is no longer an accessory — it’s an enabler of scale.
Houston Energy & Climate Week
In Texas, TerraFlow had one of its busiest weeks of the year. Our team was in session after session, meeting with utilities, developers, policymakers, and technology leaders to address the challenges of powering new load growth.
Our leadership joined key panels that set the tone for the week:
- CTO Ian Rock joined the “Heat, Power & Progress of Data Centers” panel, spotlighting how flexible, reliable power is essential for AI and digital growth.
- CEO Jon Parrella spoke on the “Powering AI in Texas” panel, emphasizing why long-duration storage must be integrated directly into planning for critical loads.
But the panels were only part of it. Between private roundtables, side sessions, and one-on-one conversations, TerraFlow was at the tables where decisions are being shaped. It was a nonstop week — and an important one for putting long-duration storage at the center of Texas’ energy leadership.
Climate Week NYC
In New York, the pace was just as intense. TerraFlow had a presence at multiple summits, meetings, and private gatherings with global leaders in finance, energy, and infrastructure.
Our leadership took part in sessions that put storage in the spotlight:
- Jon spoke at the Bankability Summit with the Long Duration Energy Storage Council, spotlighting how storage is already proving itself in markets where reliability and ROI matter most.
- We also had the opportunity for a one-on-one with Siemens U.S. CEO Barbara Humpton, reinforcing how partnerships between storage innovators and global infrastructure leaders will accelerate deployment.
Between those anchor moments, the team was moving nonstop – from high-level discussions to receptions and private sessions. The signal was clear: long-duration storage is no longer a side topic — it is central to how growth will be financed and delivered.
Data Center World POWER | San Antonio
We closed September in San Antonio, where TerraFlow connected directly with the decision-makers shaping the power backbone of the digital economy. At our booth, we met with energy providers, infrastructure leaders, sustainability experts, and policy influencers — the full spectrum of voices working to align massive digital growth with resilient, efficient energy infrastructure.
For TerraFlow, it was an opportunity to show how LDUPS™ addresses not just capacity, but power quality and precision – absorbing spikes, filtering harmonics, and keeping operations online in environments where milliseconds matter.
What’s Next: FBNA | Chicago | October 27–29
If September was about breadth, October is about depth. TerraFlow will be at Flow Batteries North America (FBNA), the first North American conference dedicated entirely to flow battery innovation.
Our CEO, Jon Parrella, will be speaking, and we’ll also have a table at the event. FBNA brings together utilities, financiers, researchers, and manufacturers to focus on moving flow batteries from proven technology to mainstream deployment.
