Collaboration aligns long-duration energy storage and industrial manufacturing capabilities to support resilient power systems for data centers and other critical applications
TerraFlow Energy today announced a strategic collaboration with NOV’s Fiber Glass Systems business unit to support the development and deployment of long-duration energy storage infrastructure for data centers and other high-demand power applications.
The collaboration is intended to align TerraFlow’s long-duration storage platform with NOV’s advanced fiberglass industrial solutions and broader manufacturing and field execution expertise. Together, the companies intend to support both joint market development efforts and strategic supply chain collaboration for infrastructure-scale deployments.
The announcement comes as accelerating AI growth and rising electricity demand are driving renewed focus on the physical systems required to support reliable, flexible power at scale. As developers, utilities, and industrial power users confront growing constraints around resilience and duration, long-duration storage is increasingly being evaluated as a foundational layer of next-generation energy infrastructure.
Through the collaboration, TerraFlow and NOV intend to pursue opportunities to support customers in data centers and other energy-intensive sectors, while advancing a strategic supply relationship designed to strengthen delivery readiness for future deployments. The collaboration will also evaluate how advanced fiberglass solutions can support long-duration energy storage applications requiring corrosion resistance, long asset life, reduced maintenance, and scalable field deployment.
