TerraFlow Energy, a leader in long-duration energy storage innovation, announced plans for a new 100,000-square-foot facility in Katy, Texas, that will serve as its future corporate headquarters and small-scale manufacturing center. Currently under construction, the building will also be co-located with Storion Energy, a valued partner in advancing TerraFlow’s vanadium flow battery technology.
Located in the heart of Katy’s emerging energy corridor, the new facility dedicates 60,000 square feet to TerraFlow’s operations, including corporate offices and dedicated space for product assembly and early-stage manufacturing. The remaining 40,000 square feet will house Storion Energy’s vanadium chemical and stack manufacturing activities.

The new Katy facility will support a growing pipeline of deployments, including the 9.6 MW, 5-hour project in Bellville, Texas, which is the first to utilize a vanadium electrolyte lease through Storion. Additional smaller-scale projects totaling more than 120 MW of capacity are expected to launch in 2026, underscoring TerraFlow’s continued momentum in long-duration storage.
The co-location with Storion reflects a deep partnership aimed at streamlining the development and scale-up of flow battery systems designed for grid-scale resilience, peak shifting, and power quality management.
This facility marks a milestone in TerraFlow’s mission to deliver reliable, safe, and scalable storage solutions to markets facing growing power demands and increasing infrastructure constraints.
