We’re excited to welcome Shayan Ghani to TerraFlow Energy as our new Engineering Manager, Balance of Plant!
With nearly a decade of experience in renewable energy project engineering, Shayan brings a wealth of knowledge in utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). His expertise in engineering design, high-voltage substation protection and control, and project execution will be instrumental in advancing our energy storage initiatives.

Shayan joins us from Repsol Renewables, where he played a key role in the engineering design, EPC coordination, and execution of large-scale solar projects across Texas, New York, and New Mexico. Prior to that, he held engineering roles at EDP Renewables and Burns & McDonnell, where he supported over 1GW of renewable energy projects annually, designed high-voltage substation protection and control schemes, and optimized project schedules and budgets.
Beyond his technical expertise, Shayan is deeply committed to mentorship and leadership. He has recruited, trained, and guided junior engineers and interns, and founded the Perpetual Guidance Scholarship, which has awarded over $15,000 in scholarships to students across multiple universities.
